Privacy Agreement 

By submitting a job application you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described below. Please read the following carefully and select ‘I accept’ to apply for a vacancy with APRA or ‘Back’ if you wish to return to the jobs page.  


We will only use your information for the purpose of assessing your application for employment within APRA in the role(s) for which you have applied, and retain your information for consideration in respect of future employment opportunities within APRA. You will be asked to provide us with, or allow us access to, your personal information. Such information may include your name, address, contact details, resume, employment details, referees and results of probity checks and psychological assessments.  


If your application is successful, this information will be transferred across to the HR information system. 

 

APRA will also collect your personal information from other sources, including security vetting agencies, referees, third parties that provide identity checking services and educational institutions. 


Your personal information may be disclosed to: 

  • referees; 
  • APRA staff members and agents (such as recruitment and relocation agencies); 
  • the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA); 
  • the Australian Federal Police (AFP); 
  • Criteria and its related bodies corporate, who provide psychometric testing services; and
  • Hogan Assessments - as part of the psychological assessment process. Please note that Hogan Assessments collects, processes and stores candidate information in the US.

in connection with processing your application.  


Please note that failure to provide your personal information may impact APRA’s ability to process your application.
